Erika has more than 20 years of experience helping AEC firms win work and build lasting client relationships. She has led marketing and pursuit efforts for regional, national, and mega-project programs across transportation, healthcare, higher education, justice, and high-rise mixed-use, commercial and residential project throughout the United States and internationally.
At ELECSYS, Erika leads the firm’s brand, marketing, communications, and business development strategy, working closely with the managing partners and technical leads to position the firm for agency, institutional, and private-sector opportunities. She is deeply involved in client relationship-building and pursuit strategy, teaming, and interview coaching—helping project teams tell clear, compelling stories about ELECSYS’s role, value, and technical strengths. A strategy-driven leader, she is focused on taking ELECSYS to its next stage of growth and ensuring that the firm’s external brand and new website reflect the quality, sophistication, and impact of its work.
Before joining ELECSYS, Erika held senior marketing and leadership roles at large engineering and consulting firms, giving her a strong understanding of how owners, primes, and partners evaluate teams and make decisions. She has led and won major pursuits as part of large, multi-firm teams in both the United States and abroad, across delivery models Her experience spans work for owners and for design and construction firms, and for both public and private clients, which informs her ability to see a pursuit from every side of the table. Erika has planned and executed rebrands, new website launches, and campaign rollouts, and is known for blending design sensibility with critical thinking, innovation, and a highly organized approach. She has built and managed marketing teams, mentored marketing and technical staff, and developed training on proposals, presentations, and client-care—always with a focus on long-term relationships, not just one-time wins.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management, with a minor in Pre-Law, from Pace University, and completed an executive leadership development program with a previous employer focused on strategy, change management, and leading high-performing teams.
Erika is an active leader in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) New York Chapter, where she has served as chapter president and director of sponsorship, and she serves in board and committee roles with the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP) North Central New Jersey and Greater New York chapters, helping connect owners, designers, and builders across the region.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys traveling, learning languages, and creating meaningful experiences for her family and community—whether volunteering with her son’s school PTA or organizing events in the AEC industry—that bring people together and create lasting memories.
