Scott is a senior systems engineer with more than 11 years of experience delivering fire alarm and life safety system design, documentation, and field support for complex, schedule-driven projects across the commercial, residential, transportation, and healthcare sectors in the New York region and across the United States. He has served as a discipline lead and project designer for base-building and tenant fit-out fire alarm systems, coordinating with architectural and other multi-discipline engineering teams, contractors, and owners to support permitting, installation, and commissioning. Scott’s experience includes system layout and device selection, sequence-of-operations coordination, code analysis, drawing and specification production, and review of shop drawings and submittals, as well as developing supporting calculations and panel configurations needed for approvals and installation.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He also holds Six Sigma Lean Black Belt and Six Sigma Lean Green Belt certifications through the Management & Strategy Institute and is a published author, including a paper presented at the 2014 IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Practical Robot Applications.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors.
