ELECSYS Welcomes New Talent to Growing Team

December 30, 2025

ELECSYS Engineering Group is pleased to welcome three new team members who joined the firm over the past month: Frank Valenti, Aram Gharapetian, PE, and Daniel Kilerciyan. Together, they bring additional strength in Electrical, Systems and Instrumentation & Controls, further enhancing our ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality solutions for our clients.

With these additions, ELECSYS is now approaching a 40-person team—and still growing. The firm’s expansion reflects both the demand for high-level technical engineering and our commitment to building a deep bench of talent across disciplines. As a growing firm, ELECSYS is intentionally adding expertise that complements our existing strengths and allows us to offer more comprehensive services to owners, design partners, and contractors.

Frank Valenti – Senior Systems Engineer

Frank joins ELECSYS as a Senior Systems Engineer, bringing 35 years of experience in critical buildings and transportation infrastructure. He has worked on projects including the MTA Third Track Mainline Expansion project, and will be focused on supporting ELECSYS communications and electronic security projects.

Aram Gharapetian, PE – Senior Electrical Engineer

Aram joins ELECSYS as a Senior Electrical Engineer, with 20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Quality Management.  At ELECSYS, he will play a key role in leading the electrical design on complex infrastructure projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing quality management.

Daniel Kilerciyan – Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Dan joins ELECSYS as a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, specializing in process controls, SCADA, and automation, with 11 years of experience. His background includes proven expertise in leading multi-disciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle – from concept design and instrumentation specification, to procurement, FAT/SAT execution and startup and commissioning support.  Dan will help advance our capabilities on water/wastewater facilities, process systems, and transportation infrastructure.

A Stronger, More Diverse Team

Each new hire brings not only technical skills, but also the insights and lessons learned from their prior firms and project work. That diversity of background makes ELECSYS stronger—shaping how we approach design challenges, coordinate with partners, and deliver solutions that work in the field.

“As we grow, we’re very deliberate about the people we add to the team. We look for engineers and specialists who understand both the technical details and the realities of construction and operations. Frank, Aram and Dan each bring that mindset, and our clients will feel the impact of their contributions.”

- Eldo James, PE, Managing Partner

“Reaching nearly 40 staff is an exciting milestone, but what matters most is the quality of the work we deliver,” added Pavan Pulijaal, PE, Managing Partner of ELECSYS Engineering Group. “These new team members help us deepen our expertise and expand the services we can offer—while keeping the responsiveness and hands-on approach that our clients expect from a nimble, growing firm.”

With a larger, more diverse team in place, ELECSYS is well-positioned to take on additional responsibilities on current projects, pursue new opportunities, and continue supporting complex, multi-stakeholder assignments across the region.
