Electrical Engineer

“Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”

Will Durant (often attributed to Aristotle)

Herta is an electrical engineer with more than 6 years of experience in electrical design and design services during construction for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and transportation projects. She has experience performing power system studies—including short-circuit, protective device coordination, load flow, motor starting, and arc-flash analysis—and preparing bid drawings in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards. Herta uses AutoCAD and Revit to develop coordinated layouts, one-line diagrams, and equipment plans.

Her project experience includes lighting energy analyses and LED lighting upgrades for educational facilities, electrical upgrades for manufacturing facilities, and citywide street lighting replacement and control-system improvements. Herta’s responsibilities include field surveys, energy evaluations, equipment sizing, grounding, developing power distribution schemes and equipment layouts, and providing electrical design services during construction to support contractors. She brings a strong analytical mindset and familiarity with international standards to her work, helping project teams deliver efficient, code-compliant electrical designs.

Herta holds both a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Association of Energy Engineers.

Outside of work, Herta enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, traveling, and reading books.
