Patrick is a senior mechanical engineer with nearly ten years of experience delivering heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, and fire protection design for commercial, institutional, transportation, and industrial facilities. He is particularly experienced with central plants, campus and building distribution systems, and energy-efficiency and resiliency upgrades for public agencies and higher-education clients.
Patrick’s design work includes boiler and chiller plants, high- and low-pressure steam systems, high-temperature hot-water systems, air-handling units, hydronic and air-side distribution, vivarium systems, fuel-oil and gas services, domestic hot water, sanitary and storm systems, and heat-pump and heat-recovery technologies. He regularly leads mechanical design on projects that must remain in operation during construction, developing phasing strategies, sequences of operation, and energy-conservation measures that support long-term performance and Local Law–driven carbon reduction goals.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Facilities Engineering from SUNY Maritime College and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. He has completed OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health training and holds United States Coast Guard engineering licenses, reinforcing his deep understanding of mechanical systems in demanding environments.
