Frank is a senior communications systems engineer and designer with more than 27 years of experience delivering security, communications, and life-safety systems for complex transportation and infrastructure projects. His work spans subway and rail stations, tunnels, airports, bus fleets, and utility facilities for agencies such as Metropolitan Transportation Authority Construction & Development, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Amtrak, the New York Power Authority, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, nuclear facilities, and regional transit operators across the United States, including light rail and bus fleets on the East and West Coasts.
At ELECSYS, Frank helps owners and project teams plan, design, and commission access control, CCTV, video management, mesh networks, and perimeter security systems that meet rigorous agency standards. He is fluent in both the design office and the field, supporting site surveys, system layouts, device and fiber routing, submittal reviews, and testing and commissioning on major programs in New York City and other U.S. transit markets. He is highly experienced with enterprise-level video and access control platforms, including Lenel, Verint, Genetec, and related networking and fiber-optic infrastructure.
Frank has completed Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour and 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health training and multiple agency track-safety and facility-access courses. He also holds numerous manufacturer certifications in video, access control, mesh networking, and perimeter detection systems, reflecting his commitment to staying current with evolving technologies. His studies and professional development have included optical communications, engineering, programming, and computer science.
Outside of work, Frank enjoys spending time with his family—especially at the ocean—exploring new towns, playing darts and backgammon, working on small-engine repairs, restoring a sailboat, and cheering on his grandchildren at their dance performances.
