Lee is a senior electrical engineer with 15 years of experience delivering large-scale transit, infrastructure, and building-systems projects. He has worked for owners, contractors, and consultants, giving him a constructability-focused perspective on design, installation, and startup. Lee’s expertise includes medium-voltage and low-voltage substations, power distribution, signal-power generation, SCADA, tunnel ventilation, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, building management systems, and multi-layer communications networks.
At ELECSYS, Lee serves as a project engineer and systems integrator on design–build and construction-phase assignments. His experience includes leading electrical and systems work for major commuter rail expansion programs; managing design–build traction power and electric bus charging infrastructure projects for Metropolitan Transportation Authority Construction & Development and New York City Transit; and supporting motor control center replacement and other safety enhancements for airport automated people mover systems. He is skilled in field coordination, construction scheduling and phasing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and managing complex submittal and deliverable workflows.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has completed the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health training and is well-versed in key rail, fire, transit, and electrical codes, including Federal Railroad Administration (49 CFR) requirements, National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72), Fixed Guideway Transit and Passenger Rail Systems (NFPA 130), the National Electrical Code (NEC), and Con Edison high-tension standards such as EO-2022 and MES-350.
Lee also volunteers as an Emergency Medical Technician for his local Ambulance Corps, donating hundreds of hours to the community each year. He has been an active volunteer since 2001, underscoring his long-standing commitment to safety and community service. Lee is also an automotive enthusiast who enjoys tinkering with cars and motorcycles, as well as participating in trail-riding and racing events in his spare time.
